Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese martial art that helps build better balance and improve overall health. It is practiced as a sequence of gentle standing movements, and is great for almost everyone, especially for those who are less active, in rehabilitation or physically challenged. When practiced regularly, Tai Chi can help maintain or increase range of motion, build strength in the limbs, improve coordination and brain function. Like yoga, Tai Chi can be beneficial to persons with arthritis, Parkinson’s, fibromyalgia, cardio-vascular issues, and orthopedic conditions. All are welcome and no experience is necessary.
