ayurveda, yoga + self-care: immersion weekend

Saturday Sep. 28 11:30am - 7:30pm + Sunday Sep. 29 10:30am-  5pm

with Emilie Amstutz and Veronica Wolff-Casey

Learn how to take better care of yourself. Everyday.

Are you overwhelmed by trying to figure out how to do life the “right” way??? This weekend will set the stage for your immersion in the ancient practices of Ayurveda and yoga. We will release outdated modes of thinking around food, sleep, and lifestyle. We will learn how to tap into the natural rhythms of the day to biohack our lives. You have to affix your own oxygen mask before you can help others!

Over the course of the 2-day immersion weekend, you will learn how to eat, how to breathe, and how to sleep. Experience practices that will activate your parasympathetic nervous system, or relaxation response, and ways that you can nourish yourself to balance daily activities and stress. Come away with some powerful tools from yoga and Ayurveda that you can incorporate into your modern life.

Price:

for the 2-day immersion, includes lunch served on both days, snack on Saturday, and all course materials.

Members: $280

Non-members: $350

emilieheadshot-1Emilie Amstutz inspires her students to find the extraordinary moments in everyday experiences by fully engaging with each other and the world around us. She sees yoga and meditation as tools to help us actively participate in our daily life—and that it’s so much better when we do it together. Community is the cornerstone of Emilie’s mission and in 2014, Emilie opened Borealis Community Yoga in Medford, MA.

Emilie’s classes invite students to connect to each other and to the many aspects that live within us. Her highest priority is respect for the body and it’s magical make-up of physical and emotional energies that allow us to be in this human experience. She draws from a number of yoga styles including Kripalu, yin, and Yoga of Energy Flow. She credits her fellow teachers and students at Borealis, and her mentors Coby Kozlowski, Priti Robyn RossLorin Roche, and Stephanie Marango as constant sources of inspiration.
